Open Door

"The door's been opened, my chance to escape." Tonight is the last night that I have to spend in the flat.

Thank f*ckery for that! I shall finally be free. Free of this rubbish accomodation and its frankly pathetic managers. I'll be heading back up North for one last week-n'-a-bit, then it'll be time to leave it all behind and go less North to Hedon. I'll get my first proper look around the new pad tomorrow, with a second helping on Friday. I will finally decide whether the turret room is worth fighting for, or if another room will better suit my needs. Basically, I need quite a bit of space for bookcases. Upon the bookcases will go my CDs, DVDs and, obscurely, books, so I might need a few. I'll also need to consider desk room for the computer I intend to build in September...

So, I might indulge in some interior design over the Easter holiday, which is something I haven't done for a good many years now. I think the last time I tried was when I was doing my Graphics GCSE and I designed a lunar themed restaurant. It was rubbish. This time, I will not fail.

What else has been going on? Well, I've been feeling pretty teriffic these past two weeks or so. I think I'll feel even better after the move is complete. The last four years will have come full circle, just as I feel the last decade finally did earlier on in the year. I can't remember a time when I've felt this way for so long before. Spring is most definitely in the air in my world.

I wish this amazing feeling of comfort and security to all of you out there. I might have to keep some of the confidence to myself, as I think I'm long overdue some! I may return soon with some photographs of the new house, so stay tuned...
