Spring

I was out earlier, walking around as people do. It was a particularly warm day today, a bit muggy, but then I always find warm weather muggy. I caught a wiff of Spring on the air. Lovely! I know I start my season started on the 1st of March, but this was the first time this year when I actually smelt it. New mown grass... Flowers... Ah yes, it's all coming fast, now.

And do you know what? I feel I'm in the mood to do some work. I've already finished my spotting notes for my Monsters Inc. clip (spotting notes are little markers with a timecode noting what sound effects that will need to be recorded for the scene), and now I feel artistic. I might just fire up that old Think/Talk track and play some guitar to it, see if anything sticks. I want to rejuvinate it for this false record label sampler, and it was always meant to have real guitar on it anyway. Yeah, I think I might do that.
