The Blog, The Blog, He's At It Again

Well, well, well. Good to see this place hasn't burned down, blown up or been fed to the monster of Darkness Incarnate called through from the Unknown Dimension by the Tories when they were experimenting with the occult back in the late 1980s. You heard.

Anyway, it's still here and all is well. It seems the last update was when I was still in the flat. A lot has happened since then. We've successfully moved house, now residing in Hedon (that's just outside Hull, that is), my Mum is now the priest-in-charge of Hedon and Paull (that's just outside Hedon, that is), the second year of my Music Production Foundation Degree is nearing its end and last Saturday my Brother was on Total Wipeout on BBC1. I've been to London to see the mighty Tinyfish in concert, had all of my trains cancelled and got off at the wrong station and was left in the middle of nowhere for an hour and forty minutes. All in all, fun times have been had.

I've been brimming with ideas concerning which direction to take some of my compositions in recently, which has been very enlightening along with annoying as I haven't had the time, effort or resources to get on with them. Oh well. Soon, I'll have nearly five months in which to do sod all, so maybe I'll get on with it then. Promising times ahead!

The new house is fab. Although I didn't get the turret room (did I mention this house has a turret-like structure?), I did get one heck of a large room. It's even got a fireplace, which is a bit annoying, actually. I wonder if I'll be able to fit all of my crap in here. I've been successful so far! New furniture will be ordered and I'll give it a lick of paint sometime after college has finised. I found this lovely shade of green called Winchester Green, which is the sort of green that adorns The Flying Scottsman. You know, that sort of classic British industrial green. Maybe. We'll see.

Right, that's pretty much this place up to speed. I'll be back (hopefully sooner rather than) later with any interesting news. I might start writing reviews of music here, something I specifically wanted to avoid, but I might do it to flex my writing muscles. And my Thesaurus.

So, until the next time, don't eat the yellow snow where the Eskimos go.
